How to View Campaign Performance

Method 1: Campaign Links Dashboard

Go to Campaign Links tab in LinksToBook.

You'll see:

Campaign Name Clicks Bookings Conversion Rate Status
Instagram Bio 847 124 14.6% Active
Instagram Stories 423 87 20.6% Active
Facebook Profile 89 8 9.0% Active

Key insights:

  • Stories convert better than bio (20.6% vs 14.6%)
  • Focus more on Stories
  • Facebook isn't worth the effort

Method 2: Analytics Dashboard

Go to Dashboard → Scroll to "Campaign Breakdown"

You'll see a chart showing:

  • Which campaigns drive the most clicks
  • Which convert best
  • Trends over time

Advanced: Multiple Links for Same Platform

You can create multiple campaign links for the same platform to test different strategies.

Example: Testing Instagram Stories

Test A (Before/After Content):

Source: Instagram
Medium: Story
Campaign: test-before-after

Test B (Client Testimonials):

Source: Instagram
Medium: Story
Campaign: test-testimonial

Test C (Promotion Posts):

Source: Instagram
Medium: Story
Campaign: test-promo

After 30 days: See which type of Story drives the most bookings.

Campaign Link Limits (By Plan)

Growth Plan ($149/mo)

  • Active campaigns: 5 maximum
  • Archived campaigns: Unlimited (still work, just not counted)

Strategy: Keep your 5 most important platforms active, archive the rest.

Premium Plan ($299/mo)

  • Active campaigns: Unlimited
  • Archived campaigns: Unlimited

Strategy: Create a campaign for every marketing channel.

Managing Your Campaigns

Archive a Campaign

When to archive:

  • Campaign ended (e.g., "january-sale")
  • Platform not worth tracking anymore
  • Need to make room for new campaigns (Growth plan)

How:

  1. Go to Campaign Links
  2. Click "⋯" on campaign
  3. Select "Archive"

Result: Link still works, but doesn't count toward your active limit.

Edit a Campaign

What you can edit:

  • Campaign name (for your reference)
  • Status (active vs archived)

What you can't edit:

  • Source, Medium, Campaign parameters (would break tracking)

Workaround: Create a new campaign with corrected parameters.

Delete a Campaign

Warning: This breaks the link. Don't delete unless you're sure.

When to delete:

  • Made a mistake and nobody has used it yet
  • Want to completely remove tracking

Common Mistakes (Avoid These)

❌ Mistake 1: Using Same Link Everywhere

Bad:

  • Instagram Bio: Main link
  • Instagram Stories: Main link
  • Facebook: Main link

Result: No idea what works.

Fix: Create separate campaign links for each platform.

❌ Mistake 2: Too Many Active Campaigns (Growth Plan)

Bad: Creating 10+ campaigns when you can only have 5 active.

Fix: Keep top 5 platforms active, archive the rest.

❌ Mistake 3: Forgetting to Update Links

Bad: Created campaign link but still using old main link everywhere.

Fix: Update all your platforms with new campaign links.

❌ Mistake 4: Deleting Active Campaigns

Bad: Deleting a campaign that's still in your Instagram bio.

Fix: Archive instead of delete. Archived links still work.
